Anel's Elder Care

It starts here

The free in-home assessment. One hour. No pressure. Totally yours.

The best way to know whether we're right for your family is to invite us over. We listen, we walk the home, we answer every question — and we leave you with a plan in writing, even if you choose someone else.

  • Free and non-binding
  • Led by a care manager, not a salesperson
  • Written plan and estimate within 48 hours

What happens in the visit

Four parts of one unhurried hour.

  • An hour at your table

We come to you — living room, kitchen, wherever feels most comfortable. No office, no clipboard-only interview.

  • A conversation, not a pitch

We ask more than we talk. You'll answer questions you didn't know mattered and ask some we haven't thought of.

  • A quiet walk-through

We note the small things: rug edges, stair lighting, shower grab bars, bedroom layout — the unglamorous stuff that prevents falls.

  • Real answers on cost

By the end, you'll know a realistic hourly and weekly range — or we'll tell you why we're not the right fit.

What you walk away with

A real plan — and real clarity.

Even if you hire someone else, you leave with something worth the hour. Most families tell us it's the first time they've felt like they understood what they were actually looking at.

  • A written care plan — hours, tasks, goals, cost
  • A home-safety summary with specific recommendations
  • Honest guidance on whether in-home care fits — or whether a different level of care is wiser
  • A clear next step: caregiver introductions, or none if we're not right
  • Your questions answered, in writing if you want them
  • Zero obligation — the plan is yours whether or not you hire us

Before you book

The things families hesitate to say out loud.

  • "Is this a sales visit in disguise?"

No. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so. If a different level of care would serve better, we'll tell you what to look for — and often who to call.

  • "We're not ready to decide anything yet."

Good. Neither are most families at this stage. The assessment is the step before the decision, not part of it.

  • "My parent will resist having someone in the home."

We hear this every week. Our care manager knows how to walk in gently — and how to leave even faster if your loved one's uncomfortable.

  • "We just need questions answered."

Perfect. Come with a list. We'd rather answer ten tough questions than skip past one.

Assessment FAQ

Quick answers to common questions.

Does the assessment really cost nothing?+

Nothing. No fee, no deposit, no "if you hire us" clause. Whether you move forward or not, the visit and plan are yours.

How long does the visit take?+

About one hour. Occasionally longer if there are a lot of questions — we never rush.

Who should be there?+

The person needing care, if possible. Any family members who want to be part of the decision are welcome too — the more voices, the better the plan.

What if my loved one won't agree to meet?+

Call us anyway. We've walked dozens of families through exactly this — there are ways to introduce the visit that don't feel like "someone from the agency is coming."

Can the assessment happen on a weekend or evening?+

Yes. We schedule around real life, not office hours.

Is the assessment the same as the care plan?+

The assessment leads to the plan. The plan is delivered in writing within 48 hours of the visit.
